Technical Apparel Designer
Sustainable Design · Outdoor Performance · Craft Heritage
Bridging post-industrial upcycling with Indian textile tradition — designing garments where sustainability is not an afterthought, but the first constraint.
"Sustainability is not a feature — it is a design constraint I apply from the first sketch."
I am a detail-oriented, sustainability-driven Technical Apparel Designer with hands-on experience across the full product development lifecycle — from concept ideation and fabric research to tech pack creation, fit development, and production coordination.
Specialising in high-performance outdoor and functional womenswear, I bring a strong grounding in sustainable design principles including upcycling, modular construction, and low-waste pattern-making. I work across digital (CLO 3D) and physical prototyping, collaborating cross-functionally with factory floors, suppliers, and brand leads.
My creative practice is deeply rooted in Indian textile heritage — I believe the most forward-thinking sustainable fashion draws equally from craft memory and engineering precision.

A modular jacket system engineered entirely from post-industrial fabric offcuts — reversible, transformable, and built for multiple silhouettes. The patchwork geometry is both aesthetic and structural: each panel is a found fragment, assembled with snap button connections for an androgynous, all-weather design that defies single-use fashion.
Constructed entirely from post-consumer textile waste — zero new fabric. Each piece is embellished with hand-painted Kaudi patches featuring Hase Chittara artwork — a traditional Karnataka folk art form — painted directly onto patchwork sections of recovered cloth. A meditation on what it means to paint meaning onto discarded material.
Inspired by the visual language of Kumbh Mela — the sacred confluence of bodies, fire, and river. A 6-look womenswear collection translating Ganga Aarti ritual into contemporary Indo-western silhouettes. Saffron to sunrise gradients, flowing coat forms, and brocade trousers evoke the moment flame meets water. Photography by Pavan Kumar.
